Beginners- Journey on long hair up

Intended for: This course is suitable for juniors or stylists who would like to start a career in dressing long hair up.

This course is aimed at trainees/stylists with little or no experience in up-styling who would like to pursue a career in up-styling. They will learn
– The foundations of Up styling
– Important questions to ask the client
– Learn how to secure hair pins correctly
– Preparing the hair.
– Sections of building an up style without the fear of not knowing where to start.

The day will start with a short introduction and straight into the importance of a consultation giving you key questions to ask the client. Then onto preparation of the hair and understanding where to start when clients show you Pinterest perfect styles.
Shirley will be sharing – 4 different techniques that can be interchanged to create different looks as you progress your long hair up training.

Format: Demonstrations / Hands-on workshop.

What you need to bring with you: Full tool kit, as you would use for up styling (tail comb, up-styling brush, paddle brush, bobby pins, curling wand, iron & bobbins.)

Materials provided: Mannequin head, for your use on the day & completion Certificate.
