Stephen Flanagan

With close to 2 decades of hairdressing experience, Stephen Flanagan is a multi-award-winning hairdresser having come first in the Irish Hairdressers Federation’s Women’s Cut and Colour, 1^st in the Men’s Full Fashion and 3^rd in Men’s Barbering! Stephen also won the Peter Mark Stylist of the Year!

Stephen qualified from Peter Mark College of Hairdressing and he brings with him a wealth of experience from his time working in their St. Stephen’s Green & Dundrum Town Centre Salons.  Stephen has also spent time working in Black Amber Hair Salon.

Stephen specialises in application techniques in particular scalp application and hair cutting!

Inspired by Paul Stafford and Ciaran Dowd, Stephen has a casual approach to teaching.  Speaking in layman terms, he aspires to ensure his students understand the ‘why’ of a topic and not just the ‘how’.

Along his with dedication to teaching, Stephen’s competition success has been featured in Creative Head Magazine and he has shared how he prepares for competitions with the Irish Hairdresser Magazine.  He has also written articles for the Wedding Journal Magazine readers on how they can prepare for their wedding day!
